Graston Technique
FAKTR and Graston Technique are both instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization techniques. FAKTR and Graston Technique effectively aid in the removal of scar tissue and muscle adhesions that contribute to both acute and chronic conditions.

FAKTR (pronounced “factor”) in an acronym that stands for Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab and is an innovative way to improve movement dysfunction and treat soft tissue disorders. It is effective for many conditions, ranging from headaches, back pain, shoulder issues, IT band syndrome, to foot pain.
FAKTR provides an effective means of detection and treatment of soft tissue fibrosis (scar tissue), adhesions that develop as a result from an accumulation of micro-traumas and restoration of proper muscle and joint function. The breakdown of scar tissue and fascial restrictions in combination with functional ranges of motion and treatment of the entire kinetic chain is what allows these two techniques to be so effective at delivering shorter recovery times.
