Dakota Dixon DC

Dr. Dakota is from Overland Park, KS, and attended Blue Valley West. She participated in several school sports including swimming, track and field, and cross country. She first heard about chiropractic during her CAPS Sports Medicine class when a chiropractor talked to her class. Immediately she knew it was the future for her as it allowed her to help others reach their athletic goals and any other variation of goals in life in a conservative manner. After graduating, she attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. During her time in Arkansas she interned with the chiropractor for the Arkansas Razorbacks, ran her first marathon, and was part of the University’s triathlon club. She was president of the triathlon club for her senior year. After graduation, Dakota moved to St. Louis, MO, to pursue her chiropractic degree at Logan University. During her time at Logan, Dakota competed in her first Half Ironman and became a certified triathlon coach.
Quick fixes are easy to come by in today’s world, but Dr. Dakota ensures every individual that finding the source of each problem is the best investment for long-term health. Utilizing chiropractic care through adjustments, instrument assisted soft tissue work, Active Release Technique for muscles, kinesiology taping for active stability, and targeted stretches and exercises, a treatment plan is uniquely created for each individual.
Outside of the office, Dr. Dakota loves working towards new triathlon goals and creating organic household products using sources from her family’s organic farm.
